Attorney Shahram Darya-Azarm was born on 12 July 1972 in Tehran (Iran) and immigrated to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1985.

 

He attained his higher education entrance qualification at the Resimann Gymnasium in Paderborn before studying law at the Philipps University in Marburg.

 

After successful completion of his first state examination in 1998, the legal training began at the District Court of Kassel. In 2002, Mr. Darya-Azarm finished his legal training with the completion of the second legal state examination.

 

In 2003, he was admitted as a lawyer to the Bar Association Kassel. He has since worked as a freelance lawyer focused on corporate law, labour law, administrative law (residence and naturalisation law in particular), civil law and international contract law.

 

In tandem, Mr. Darya-Azarm has been lecturing labor and contract law among other things at the Deutschen Angestellten-Akademie (DAA) at the sites of Marburg, Giessen, Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart, Aalen and Dresden since 1998. He is also a member of several audit committees.
